What happened to Binance
Yesterday, January 8, Binance started technical works that were supposed to lead to «temporary productivity reduce», but eventually stopped the exchange’s work for an indeterminate time. Regardless of the promises, the didn’t go online this morning. On his Twitter, the CEO of Binance Changpeng Zhao wrote that they were having difficulties with copying and synchronizing data. For now, 4 p.m (GMT+3), all engines are back. However, John McAfee is sure that the actual reason for the issue was a hacking attack which the CEO wouldn’t admit. To prove McAfee wrong, Changpeng Zhao provides the wallet address, where users can see the platform wasn’t hacked.
